In Every 38 yr old man's life...there's a Spring 2009 @ Coachella

This isn't posted to be a statement on police brutality. This isn't posted to be make fun of an what most would consider 'a middle-aged hippie'. I just thought it was interesting how the progression of a man completely in the wrong [considering we are all abiding by the US laws of public decency] went from me wanting him to be arrested and when it actually happened I felt horribly guilty. I have heard how awesome Coachella is and will probably go in the future, but lets just say as a result of everyones actions in the clip...i'm walking a little slower now.

Pac Man Prankster
Friday, April 17, 2009 at 4:20PM Ripped from the headlines of Kotaku, Remi Gaillard decided to spread and joy to all places he went. Turns out people didn't like the joy he brought to the supermarket or the golf course. After the jump you'll get the 'retro' video of him as Mario in his own personal Mario Kart. Sometime ago the crazy Frenchman wanted to show the world that sometimes its okay to make your fantasy...a criminal reality.
Sunshine Cleaning: A Good Movie
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 3:20PM
After checking this weekend's box office, it is safe to say that three movies are complete financial bombs: Adventureland, Observe & Report and the cream of the crop; Sunshine Cleaning. What do these movies have in common? All three films, at a glance, appear incredibly similar to previous hits. Adventureland and Observe & Report are to Superbad and Paul Blart where Sunshine Cleaning is to Little Miss Sunshine. However, Sunshine Cleaning has managed to melt my blackened heart when it comes to 'dark comedies' or 'light dramas'. There are a couple illogical moments that will have you scratching your head, but the performances from each cast member is what makes this movie worth the traveling to the theater.

Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 3:10PM Huge fan of 'The Sess', hmm...he probably would hate that nickname if I actually said it to his face. I guess he, like most people in the gaming field is bored with games for a bit...so we're talking about books this week!

Humor Artist Corner: Greg Hollimon Interview
Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 5:44PM ![]()
In case you are wondering who the immutable Greg Hollimon is, you may remember him from a great show on Comedy Central circa late 90's early 2000's, called Strangers With Candy. An excellent show, and an odd show which many believed to be short-lived. Greg Hollimon played Principal Blackman, a quick witted and quick tempered black man...who just happened to be a principal. Thanks to the power of Facebook and a stalker's determination, I decided to track down Hollimon and proceed to catch lightening in a bottle...I tried to interview him.
The interview runs long, hey it's my first time...I was excited. Unfortunately, I scared off Mr. Hollimon who clearly had to fly off and tend to the needs of the many. "Probably the jazziest choice", but you will notice that Hollimon has led quite the interesting life. From his 'first time' to who he hated most on Strangers with Candy, Hollimon spills the bean. Now if only I could have paid the man.
*I would like to thank Greg Hollimon. He really is an inpiration...that and I totally did not think he would do this little interview!

Youtubeness Fast & Furious: Now With 10% More Lame
Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 6:57PM
What you need to know from the get-go with "Fast & Furious" or "The Fast and the Furious 4", is that this is not the campy, street racing movie you may have been hoping for from the original movie. This 'street racing' movie has only one race, that just happens to be on the street! How do you make a movie who's bread-and-butter for its core audience is essentially transformed into off-road racing in Mexico? The stunts, when they are not overly CGI-ed are executed well. Unfortunately, the movie is rife with CGI show pieces and cultural stereotypes, which will take the viewer out of any modicum of entertainment you could garner from an extended Reggaeton music video.
